Joining fee $250
Annual membership fee $6,000
Other charges
Members, as Code Subscribers, may be required to make additional payments as provided for under the Code. Members collectively may need to meet the costs of the Code’s administration if these costs exceed the funds available within VAPIBA. In addition, individual members may be liable for extra charges arising from investigations and other expenses related to complaints specifically involving them as the subject of a complaint or dispute.
Access to QVAS Data
The Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM) administers the Queensland Valuation and Sales System (QVAS) database. Information brokers who wish to access QVAS Identified Information must become Code Subscribers.
Before DNRM will approve a licence, for value-adding of QVAS data including property valuation and sales data with personal details, the department requires the broker, who is applying for the licence, to be an approved Code Subscriber.
Once a broker is approved as a Code Subscriber they should inform DNRM.
